UPS packaging cost?

Does anyone know how much UPS charge for packaging two 23 inch lcd monitors?

i don't want to take the risk of packing two lcd monitors and risk damage during transit.

does anyone have any experience with the ups packaging services?
thanks

Lots. They will pack them and then pack that in a box. But if they are worth it, talk to a real UPS store.

You're better off packing it yourself.

I've sent back 24" LCD HDTV by UPS. The cost is really cheap $8 bucks. I had to put it in two boxes though. Box within a box. I had packed it myself. Don't packed two of these together. They need to be in two boxes. Shouldn't cost you no more that $16 bucks it goes by weight.

So how much will it cost the UPS Store to package the monitors for him?

I think he wanted to know how much they charge to pack, not ship.

I assume OP does not have original boxes, so I would hope that UPS will quote you on double boxing them. Best way with displays, or fragile items.

4 boxes. Bubblewrap the LCDs. Put one each into a box of packing peanuts. Take that box and put in a bigger box filled with packing peanuts. Repeat for 2nd LCD. Should have two big boxes. Likely 15lbs each. Yes?

I didn't know UPS would pack stuff. I DO KNOW they destroy your packages! And for Free!

Re: UPS packaging cost?

Go to Kinkos/FedEx Office IMO they are cheaper. UPS store charged me $12 for a box + packing peanuts for a MicroATX motherboard!!! FedEx charges about $2.25 for a box to ship a MicroATX motherboard.
