Alltel Axcess → Kyocera kr2 router and UM185AL incompatable

Apparently the new modem (um185al) does not work w/ the Kyocera. anyone verify. um175 is compatible.
Anyone know if new firmware is available for the Kyocera at other than Kyocera.
When you plug the modem into the router it knocks the whole router/network off in Vista? any work arounds known?
OK, looks like I now found out why the router was so cheap:
EOL for the Kr2.............. that $ucks.

Unless someone knows better looks like my choice is to downgrade the card to the 175.......

The Alltel version of the UM175 is not supported by the KR2 either, the Verizon version is.

You may need to downgrade to the UM150 instead.

Thanks BTW: Kyocera has confirmed to me that it will not be upgraded.. So it is "end of life " for it....
I believe their web page should list that in BOLD letters.....
