and you'll still support them some way. And even then i'm sure losing you as a customer isn't going to hurt them as soon as you disconnect at least 6 more will sign up.

I think you're wrong. My two neighbor's recently canceled Comcast and went to DirecTV.

Not really, especially considering all the providers do it. You're going to find this out next January with DirecTV as well.

This year they bumped Choice Xtra from $60.99 to $63.99 and bumped the DVR fee from $6 to $7. That's a 6% combined increase right there.
