Seriously My contract runs out with them in August, I will be moving to satellite and DSL at this point. I refuse to deal with this stuff again.

| your contract doesn't include the rate hike? why do people assume that? renew your contract now and be done with it.
When VZW raises their cell rates you don't see people on here complaining about it. You see people renewing at their current price to lock it in longer.

| How do you renew when they stopped taking contract renewals ? im in the same boat.
My contract is up this month and they are going to boost the price by 12 % total since I signed.
a 2 year contract will have been raised by 18 .
that is higher then inflation, even in a horrible economy. |

| haven't you heard call them? ask for retention? Everyone assumes the worse over a rate hike. DirecTV is having one this year as well. Well actually Jan. 2011. So yah and ATT DSL has a rate hike all the time. Hell they love to play with the prices. So you'll be stuck there as well.
When gas went up you didn't stop driving did you?

The fact that the price fixing done by oil companies acting in collusion screws the customers does not make right a monopoly (as in Comcast) raising prices. While gas is clearly a necessity in the US, high speed internet access is also becoming one. Both should be heavily regulated and investigated by our corporatist government.
Yes, you could ride a donkey and use IP over avian carriers. You could also move to Uganda.
But guess what ? We will not. We will eventually get control back of our government from terrible corporations employing shills like YOU. So speak now while you still can while in their payroll. |
