OmenQSpazzPremium join:2003-03-21 Continuum | [Need Info] Recommendations for small bus. IT support I've recently received a plea for help from an associate in my non-business life. Though I'm an IT admin myself, I do not know too many small business consultants in this area. (Perhaps I need to build my network some more, but that's another topic.)
On to the point, can anyone recommend a consultant for a small business in Plano? I will have some details in a day or two, but I do know they have one server and 3-4 desktops. It's a medical office, so HIPAA compliance is important. I also know they operate 6 days a week and they are unhappy with their current support person.
Thanks. -- Cogito Ergo Nom |

But one thing I'd find out is WHY they're unhappy with the support they have now, whether it's a money issue, a quality of service issue or whatever. I'll tell you this much: ad-hoc (as needed) support is hard to find around OKC and even on-site support associated with a really poor remote service contract is outrageously priced. -- ...then THINK! again. |

 | reply to OmenQ depending on the requirements, i might know of someone who does ad-hoc IT support. however, he currently already supports several SMBs, so depending on their needs, maybe he can help them...post the details or IM me on this site... |

I've received some info via e-mail, will pass that along, but appreciate any help. -- Cogito Ergo Nom |
