Re: Linksys WRT54GL w/ Tomato Crashing Regularly

Actually it was happening even before the flash I did yesterday. I flashed it from 1.27 to 1.28 yesterday hoping that it might solve the problem (it didn't). It work's fine for 1-2 days at a time but then randomly crashes. Can't tell what is happening before the freeze because it wipes out the logs when I restart it.

No I did not clean the RAM, not too sure how to do that. Wouldn't unplugging/replugging the power to the unit clean the RAM anyway?

Power cycling does not clear the RAM. You need to do the long reset: »Linksys FAQ »The Loooooooong Reset to the rescue

Be aware that resetting the router will return on values to default.

I did the reset as described and it seems to have worked as promised. Thanks for the help!
