Make sure you do a good search on Skybeam, for some reason their reviews are split. Skybeam is a terrible company who continually oversells their networks and then sits on them as long as possible before upgrading.
I would only use Skybeam if they are your only option for "broadband" internet. Which is the case for many people as they specialize in buying up WISPS that have no other competition and then not upgrading their network.
