 gtojim join:2002-03-18 Concord, CA | New feature to tick off customers? Internet was not working this morning so I phoned Astound/Wave tech support at 7:45am. After being on hold for for about 15 minutes a recorded message played "As of 8am Internet and phone service is down", then my call was disconnected.
I called back, received the same recorded message, again my call was disconnected when the message ended.
Yesterday there was a brief Internet outage, today the Internet was down for at least 3 1/2 hours. Not sure when the service was restored as I had to leave for a few hours.
Thought I would ask a CS rep what was going on? Outage today, brief outage yesterday, e-mail down most of the day on the 9th. But after having two phone calls disconnected, cell phone battery was getting low, I gave up.
If this is an attempt to get rid of busy signals when calling tech support. I would rather have a busy than get disconnected after being on hold for 15 minutes. |
