locked bootloader

I think a lot of the real issue on the bootloader thing isn't being talked about.

I thought Android was suppose to be open? I thought thats what it was all about?

If I buy a phone with MY money shouldn't I be able to do what I want? If I want to do something that voids my warranty then so be it.

Its not just about loading custom ROM's..Its about the principle of doing what the hell I want with something that I buy that is MINE!!!

If I wanted someone else to make decisions for me on stuff that I buy I would just buy an iphone..

Its not like I am changing the baseband or anything..

If I buy a car I can mod it pretty much anyway I want. Hell I can put a custom engine in it if I want. Maybe they should lock all that out also.

Maybe all Companies should stop us from doing what we want with the stuff that WE buy with OUR money..

Hell we should just be greatful these awesome companies make stuff for us and let me decide how, what we can do with said items!!
