Re: 1 Week before SC2 launch Question... I am (deployed) in a remote location.
When my box arrives at home, can my wife pass me my game code and I register it on Blizzard then download the game? It's going to suck waiting for the physical CD to be forwarded to me. -- All the wealthy, unhappy people you've ever met take sleeping pills; Mobile Infantrymen don't need them. However, you can cancel your pre-order if you'd like. Blizzard posted that the digital copy will be for sale at 11am PST, July 27th. -- The History Channel rocks! ... you know it! |

I can't, I ordered it from Gamestop to get the beta and you can't cancel once you redeemed the beta. -- All the wealthy, unhappy people you've ever met take sleeping pills; Mobile Infantrymen don't need them. | Right, back on topic.
Does anyone know if I can install the game on multiple computers? Like, for example, what if I install it on my PC, can I install it on my laptop for times when I am not at home and want to play? |

I got the beta key, used the beta key, then canceled my pre-order all on the same day. Then I continued to play the beta till it ended. I'm going ot skip buying SC2. Save the cash for one of these instead!

But you can only be logged in with your battle.net account at one location at a time. |

|
 | I was mainly concerned with the singleplayer for my deployment, but that makes sense now. THanks! |

ArchivisYour DaddyPremium join:2001-11-26 Earth kudos:17 | I believe battle.net is still required for single player. |

ArchivisYour DaddyPremium join:2001-11-26 Earth kudos:17 | Well, out of the box. |
|
 | Ive heard for acheivments and being able to continue your single player game from another machine, battle.net is needed.
How lame would it be if your internet was down to not be able to play the campaign?
Basically you just need to be logged in to instal, but thats about it. |

| I am not sure how battle.net fully works for Single Player. If it's for the achieves and continuing single player play, then that's fine.

I'm sure he's at a base(where else would deployed troops access the internet(for personal use)?) whose existence is by no means secret. And unless he posts GPS coordinates of his location, its highly unlikely that he can compromise his location by typing the wrong thing here. Besides that, what do the Taliban or insurgents know about the internet? |

Militants in Iraq have used $26 off-the-shelf software to intercept live video feeds from U.S. Predator drones, potentially providing them with information they need to evade or monitor U.S. military operations. -- All the wealthy, unhappy people you've ever met take sleeping pills; Mobile Infantrymen don't need them.
