| [DSL] i have got standard dsl modem from aol want to put wireles hey, have i set myself an impossible challenge? i have Windows xp home edition, running AOL 9.1 and i want to put a wireless router in so i can get wireless, i have brought a netgear DGN2000.
So i started off by connecting the Netgear router to the PC with the AOL DSL modem still connected but once i turned on the Netgear rotuer the AOL modem lost internet connection. So i tried using just the Netgear router and taking the AOL modem out, i configured the router with AOL username and password, changed the MTU settings but still no internet connection....any one have any ideas or an idiots guide on how to solve this issue??? |
