4 edits | Official Buffalo DD-WRT firmware now available for download With the official Buffalo firmware upgrading the WHR-HP-G300N and WHR-HP-GN routers to DD-WRT is easy. The normal firmware update interface is used so there is no risk of bricking the router. There is also no worry of invalidating the warranty. The firmware downloads now available on the Buffalo website include both the standard ('User Friendly') and DD-WRT ('Professional') versions. This DD-WRT is V24 SP2 build 14512, has a Buffalo branded interface and some Buffalo specific features.
There is also a 149 page user manual (16Mb download) which covers both firmwares.
At some stage there is going to be a DD-WRT firmware for the WZR-HP-G300NH but it is not yet showing on the website. |
