Dear God, I feel sorry for you guys on Robber's. Here's hoping Teksavvy becomes more and more available to Robber's customers.

| I'm in the College Park area. The last time it rained bad over here my cable actually did go out.. but it was because a tree got struck just a few feet away from the pedestal serving my home, frying the tap in the process. Amazingly enough, my TV, modem, and everything else survived.
When my net was down, my upstream power shot up from 39 dbmv to 58 dbmv... resetting it did no good until they fixed it the same day.

I live a couple of miles off Martin Bluff Road in the new neighborhood they just built and the fastest internet we get is Cable One, AT&T only offer's 1.5mbps DSL  but I have phone, internet, and TV and up until probably 2 weeks ago it would literally go out every night and when it rained.
Your pretty lucky nothing inside your home got fried during that haha because I have heard of people's TV's, modems and set top boxes go out when that happens.
