| [iPhone] what do you think of this one »money.cnn.com/2010/07/23/technol···ndex.htm
Well - I for one really cant complain about ATT. I have been a cellular one->cingular->att customer for MANY years. I have suffered through rural coverage but have alsways had sufficient signal at home and no problem at work or traveling.
I recently had some issues with support and this was resolved to my satisfaction.
I really cant complain -- Nothin' left to do but smile smile smile |

| 1) I can't stand that dude's face. I cringe every time I see it. 2) I started cell service with Southwestern Bell who was then Cingular who is now AT&T. I have never used another company so that says something right there. I used them in TX, KY, FL, and all over New England and it just works. |

 | reply to dellsweig I'm a fan of ATT. Had Cingular and then ATT. My area is good. When I didn't have an iPhone I never had issues. When I got the iphone I might have had a dropped call or two that I didn't notice on my other phones. HOwever, with the iPhone 4 and the new algorithm I don't drop any calls. In places where I would drop with the iPhone 3G/3GS, i still maintain it or it just may be a little garbled. |

While up to now it has been edge (where I live) I am aware that ATT plans on lighting up my county (Orange) the end of August with 3G and a planned increase of 30% in coverage.

| reply to dellsweig It all depends upon where you live. Some places have good coverage, some do not.
I have very poor coverage in my Apt. However, I live in a 78 unit building, and I can go to another Apt and get full bars. -- If you need a re-format, just ask and I'll do it. If you don't need one, just give me 5 minutes with your computer, and you will. |

If your company is too small - give the ATT Buisness rep a call (ask for his name at any ATT store). They have options.
A local resturant that my wife manages has crappy ATT cell reception inside the building, I contacted the Buisness rep and they are installing a repeater - they are looking at it as a possible buisness contact for the future. -- Nothin' left to do but smile smile smile |

DanHoModerhatedPremium join:2002-05-20 Seattle, WA 1 edit | I figure my company would have done that already considering we get a discount from AT&T and most of the blackberry's in use here are AT&T. Everyone complains about the crappy reception. We have ~10,000 employees total and about 400 - 500 or so in this building, but we are also located in an up and coming area of Seattle that is just now being really built up.
Edit: The other reason I most likely will be switching back is most family members are also on VZ the calling plan that I need doesn't include the calling circle or whatever the hell it's called. -- ..-. ..- -.-. -.- / --- ..-. ..-. / .- -. -.. / -.. .. . |

| reply to dellsweig Wouldn't all the people that really hate ATT just move to a different network thus increasing the % of satisfied customers?
I personally don't have a problem with att because i get my 23% discount with them. I've rarely dropped calls and get reception everywhere i go. My contract is up and i'll probably stick with them with a month-to-month billing until they get a phone that i like.
Verizons network is over hyped by att haters. They have more 3g coverage, but i don't think they're any better. Plus GSM > CDMA. -- I found the key to success but somebody changed the lock. |
