SpeedStream 5360 VCI/VPI Settings

The 5360 is setup with a Automatic Table in the Firmware with the top 11 most common VPI/VCI numbers. It will automatically work with the following Virtual Circuits.

DSL LED Solid Green. Is it okay?

Depending on your ISP when the DSL LED is solid Green and the ISP uses any 1 of the 11 listed VC pairs then the Modem is synced up and it should be working unless you need to supply PPPoE as some ISPs require.

Also, if I read correctly, my modem doesn't have any IP or telnet support?

So how I check my line stats? Specially "occupation" and "noise margin"...

You can't get any Stats, Occupation Percentages, SNR Margins, or any other diagnostic data from the 5360. You would call your ISP and they will be able to tell you your current margin, SNR and Sync Rates both upstream and downstream.

You can see the Sync Rates using EnterNet 300, but that is about it.

So I guess this modem is getting old and should be replaced right?

It supports up to 8 Mbps ADSL Downstream so until you have ADSL2 or ADSL2+ at faster speeds than 8 Mbps the modem is fine to use. Just setup a Router behind it to share the DSL with multiple PCs.
