Re: TCASE? got "Real Temps" and used a stress tester 'Prime 95' answered all my questions. TJmax is the real # to watch out for apparently and my peak of 85C is plenty below that which is around 95-100 |

Nothing amazing, if you need extra cores it will help over a 955, if not, pointless... (google more and I am sure you will find more and better comparisons)
High end (~$300 not 1k) intels will be equal or beat the 6 core @ 4 cores.
Really no reason to change from a 955 unless you need more cores, and about that only reason would be encoding. |
