Apple has already sold well over 3,000,000 iPhone 4s with no demand decrease in site. There isn't a jailbreak available.
Apple is doing just fine, with or without the jailbreakers.
Just because it sold doesn't mean people aren't expecting a jail break.
A lot of people refuse to buy a locked down device like the iphone unless they know for a fact that it will be jail broken. -- I found the key to success but somebody changed the lock.
