( i am fat and lazy ) so i got a wired remote to play the one game i have. i plug it in but wii does not recoginze this wired remote. is it the game or the wii..

Well he could be using a Gamecube wired controller or one of these which hard wires to the remote:

Problem is the game must support controllers, check the back of the game box and see if it's controller compatible. |
