Re: Charter drops calls constantly It sounds like your house might have a wiring or splitter issue. If you haven't moved and still have the issue, I would use DSLR's either paid or free line monitor to track the connection issue. Then also call Charter and tell them you're having this problem - let them figure it out.
In my situation, I had the connections made in the entry - right in the garage. Less chances for inside wiring problems.
Garage has a UPS, Cablemodem connected to Wireless Access Point, an ATA (for VOIP) connected to house telephone wiring, and Charter MTA connected to ATA. Office inside the house has another Wireless Access Point for desktops. Notebooks and other devices use whatever Access Point they are closest to. |
