It is long overdue but the demos I've seen of Win Phone 7 look really good. MS is also pursuing devs to port apps from other platform to Windows Phone. Maybe this will give MS the same Seven turn around that they saw on the desktop.
I could see an aggressive X360 tie in and maybe Windows Media Center Extender on the handset similar to Slingbox Mobile (except not $30). -- "Our goal (was to make) a billion phones Flash-enabled by 2010...We're actually going to get 1 billion Flash-enabled phones by 2009." -Adobe Chief Technology Officer Kevin Lynch in Nov 2008.
Watch some of the demo videos. They may not change your mind, but the way the OS flows and how the features are integrated doesn't come across well in articles. I wasn't interested until I actually saw it running in a video. -- "Our goal (was to make) a billion phones Flash-enabled by 2010...We're actually going to get 1 billion Flash-enabled phones by 2009." -Adobe Chief Technology Officer Kevin Lynch in Nov 2008.
