If you've set the BIOS as indicated above, and the video card is fully seated but still doesn't POST, then I'd think the card is not compatible.
You'll just have to settle for the on-board video, or try a different card. You might try contacting GigaByte support to see what they have to say about the compatibility question. We have no other way to make sure which video card is compatible, apart from that list of compatible cards. I'd think there must be other compatible cards since that list was compiled.
