One thing causing the fan to run at a high RPM is playing Mahjong Titans (Windows 7 game, not a lot of graphics).
This computer has an E5300 Dual Core processor. Could the low quality processor be the issue?
I don't think a low graphics game like that should cause a lot of CPU usage. Have you installed the Windows 7 All CPU Meter gadget on your desktop?
