I guess his results are accurate. I stand corrected. I did notice something odd. If I ping www.yahoo.com, I get about 24ms average but if I ping just yahoo.com (without the www) I get 87ms average. Is it normal for them to direct you to a completely different server if you leave off the www.? I know it's probably a dumb question but I've always found it odd. |

In your case, you're going to Google in Atlanta, not Google in California. Not even light can make it all the way across the US in five milliseconds. |
