 | Now That We Are Shentel, Do We Still Have Caps? I got my letter, and the website has changed, so I was curious if anyone knows if the caps are staying or are they gone. I was going to call the local office, but I wasnt even sure if they were going to know... |

|
 | reply to wildbill1978 Just in case anyone was curious, I did call customer service, and the lady said they have not been told that the caps have changed or been removed. I asked if it is going to change, and all she said was that they have not been told of anything as of yet... |

 | Interestingly, it looks like mentions of the quotas have been removed from their site, at least for the residential services:
»jetbroadband.com/index.php?optio···temid=61
That service level chart used to list the bandwidth cap levels too. Their business services page still lists caps, so I don't know what to make of this, but the cynic in me assumes they decided to start hiding that info in hopes of inflicting more overage charges on unsuspecting customers. I'll find out soon enough, since I apparently went over this month. |

 | reply to wildbill1978 I heard a radio commercial on 105.3 out of Radford and the commercial said "no bandwidth caps". You might call to double check, but that's what the commercial said. |

"What is the current bandwith cap for the High-Speed Internet, all levels. I am trying to see if Verizon or Shentel is better.... (Currently have Verizon)"
"Shentel has a No Cap policy. It's one change we made immediately after acquiring JetBroadband. What town or city are you from?" |
