And 512 up is not true, more like 400. Only an issue up when sending a small .jpg now & then and watch it crawl. Videos play fairly good as well as prg downloads.
Wouldn't be happy w/ modem charges & teasers. Plus my early adopt DSL years back cost me pants load in stock market one critical morning when DSL went out once again.
Watched as $20k became $17K while I tried to use dial up to exit a crashing position w/ no sell stop on it.
By next month TWC became available. It had a shakey outage start & slow speeds circa 2003 but finally been solid past 2 yrs. Forget DSL if can. |
