From what I've been seeing BBs use *significantly* less data for the same content, from emails to browsing to streaming music. There seems to be quite a bit of efficiency to be had, which is intriguing, at least to me. With "everybody" (I'm luckily still Alltel, so not me) coming out with tiered data packages with smaller ones being 2GB/mo., having a BB could allow you to be on a lesser plan and actually save you money. Just a thought.......
I'm new to BB as of 3-ish months ago. I do agree that their email system leaves a lot to be desired. The push email is great--works awesome and I love it. I even like being able to set up emails on their website. But not seeing old emails, not seeing folders, not posting my sent messages to my sent folder, and not synchronizing for diddly (I'm at a computer all day, I want to use my email reader). Give me a friggin break. |
