| DSL speed in Lorain Ohio I paid for the 10mbps service as they said it was available in my area. When they turned it on my computer DSL quit working.
I called the help desk and was told that the system was not capable of handling the speed. They sent out a tech that told me that the service is available, however the switch for my line was not capable of providing 10mbps. He had them put me on 4mbps and that is the fastest that is available.
Way to go Century tel, charge for 10 and deliver 4. When I called to have my bill adjusted because I was not getting 10mbps. I was told that the 4mbps is the same price as 10mbps. Very interesting!!! |
