Re: Frontier Fios speed dropped down (migrated from verizon) I was paying for 25/25 and I had 25/25 until approximately verizon fios got sold to frontier.
What is so hard to understand? Now they simply say you have 25/25 but I am no idiot to notice difference |

Sicne you are the only one having the problem.. what are you?.. if you assume they are cheating you. What happened to the router that comes with the service? Have you tested with that plugged in so they can actually support you?
Also how are you testing.. I know my closest server on speed test can't deal with the 25 upload.. so I test with some a bit further and I am good.
If they say you a provisionsed 25/25 why not assume that you are and do some intelligent trouble shooting..
Try a different router.. or did I miss that in your defense of the expensive router you built while all of us with free and low cost routers are fine. Why on earth did you pay $250 for a NIC? |

»my.verizon.com/micro/speedtest/broadband/
»myspeed.visualware.com/index.php (can vary with location - Vancouver and San Jose work well)
»www.speedtest.net/ (Lynnwood, WA works best for me, but it is close too) -- FiOS Customers : Do not stare into fiberoptic laser with remaining eye. |

 | Good evening. For what it's worth we're on the 20/5 package and get 25/25. Just nice to have the extra speed. Won't be any big deal to us if we end up with what we are supposed to have. Frank |
