Well, I did as MS suggested. I uninstalled Silverlight because the update would not install (saying I had a newer version). I also had to delete a registry key to allow the installation. After I installed it, I noticed that it seemed to be an earlier version. I got it from the page posted by Nick, so I am sure it is the one he was referring to. Anyway, I went to Windows Update (MS Update) and ran a check and was told I needed an update. The update was the one from last year to 4.xxxx etc. So I am back to where I was before removing Silverlight. I think I will leave it alone.
