AT&T U-verse → U-verse TV installation

I've been a Pacbell employee for 47yrs and retired 2years ago. Hired 8-9-61 and my Att number was LJ1529,in case you don't believe me. I finally had access to U-Verse and made an appointment to today(8-14) to have the U-verse installed. The date has been set for a month. When the installer arrived ,this morning ,he said that the address was wrong and that his supervisor told him "dump the installation" and for me to call and make a new order. Just a darn good thing that I didn't disconnect the sevice that I currently have. Like we always said,for a communication company,they do not comunicate very well. That's my experience with ATT U-Verse....they can't even get it installed. Wonder when Ed Whitacre is coming back,maybe he can straiten up the ATT mess before they go belly up.
