I just did a clean install of win7 64bit and downloaded AOL 9.5 but when I log off and close AOL and try to start AOL again, I get this error, "The Application was unable to start correctly oxc0000022 error". How do I fix this?
You best bet is to uninstall AOL 9.5 and re-install it as an Administrator.
Sometimes this error happens when an install took place as a "normal user".
Be 100% sure you have gotten the setup file from AOL.com & then temporary disable your anti-virus program. McAfee is one anti-virus program which has been known to deny somethings from properly registering, but I'm sure there are a few others.
Aol 9.5 is not compatible with WIN7 on 64bit. Your only option is to wait for aol 9.6...and hope it fixes the problem
