| And what happens when it comes down to the phone? you're going to reinstall your OS that is BASED on JAVA? Ho hum yourself. Oracle is already calling for the stop on the Android powered phones and asking the others to be disabled. -- www.twopugsbrand.com Kosher, Vegan, and Organic Certified Dog and Cat treats/foods and other products! www.etsy.com/shop/snakx4u/ Organic, Kosher, Gluten Free, Vegan Human Baked Goods |

Why would I reinstall the OS myself, Verizon would just push an over air firmware downgrade, easy peasy japanesey. Oracle can call for a lot of stuff, doesn't mean it's going to happen. |

| reply to hottboiinnc I have to say the whole lawsuit makes no sense to me, java was released under gnu I think, how can they sue for then using open sour e code when android code is complies with the open source requirements.
If I'm wrong on either of those points please let me know how, that is my understanding
Seems like a baseless suit to me like most patent suits |

 | It's not even that - they produced an entirely new version, it's not java. You write it in java, but, what gets pushed to the phone is Dalvik. |
