I'm wondering if Comcast will install IntelliStar 2 for TWC HD

»en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IntelliStar_2
instead of displaying the national map.

which I like alot as well.

Thanks! It's great having the wide-screen HD versions of my favorite channels. Just have to get used to using their new channel numbers now.

Yes, I already have a few copies by all the HD TVs. However, I will be making up a small sheet that lists just our favorite channels, so we don't have to keep combing through the big list.

Reminder for those who get the Spanish channels...This Thursday brings the new Spanish Channel Lineup for the Toms River, Ocean, LBI, and Monmouth systems. Not sure if the Union system will get the new spanish channels on THursday.

Are these new channels or just channel number changes?

I've noticed that since last Tuesday's HD channel additions here in Monmouth county, there are still about 10 analog channels being transmitted (most of them between channels 2 and 16) displaying the "You now need a DTA" screen.

Some are new, some have been moved. For example, Fox Sports Desportes, which was previously ch. 603, is or will be, moved to ch.584.

OK. Will these new channels be in HD?

If so, I guess a few more of those remaining analog channels will then disappear.

I'm wondering if these channels are what will be removed for the "2nd phase" of HD's - including DIY, Cooking, Reelz, and all the Premiums etc. that the Philly Center City lineup has.

No, the new Latino/Spanish channels will be SD, not HD.

Sorry, Matt. Those channels were removed from analog already and made room for the first batch of channels in the 1000's range. Have been hearing that eventually the additional Premium HD's will be removed in Philly for newer, non premium HD channels[Opposite that of Directv, which has every premium channel in HD]. Only the Main Premium channels[HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, and Starz] will probably remain, since most of the movies on the additional premiums channels are already available On Demand.

The only HD spanish language channels in the Toms River/Ocean County lineup is TeleFutura on channel 797, Telemundo on channel 796, and Univision on channel 795.

There was an Advertisement from Comcast in Yesterday's Asbury Park Press with some channel changes effective 12/22/11 for the Toms River, Ocean County, and Monmouth Systems:

1. Discovery Familla on Ch. 591 and HITN on Ch. 579 will be added to the Mulitlatino Package.

2. BBC World News will be added to Ch. 171 to the Digital Preferred Tier.

3. BBC America Ch 114 and HD Ch. 1225 will move from the Digital Preferred Tier to Expanded Basic.

Good, that should mean that BBC America will be able to be viewed (in SD) on my DTAs on Ch. 114 then.

Re: Any updates?- Comcast of Ocean County, NJ

Based on one of the blog posts about the software patch answered by Ted Hodges, the Ocean County area[starting with the LBI system] should probably see the patch installed around the first week of December.

Yeah I'm the one who posted that November 29th was the date our area was scheduled for.
