Re: New boxes and wiring in Québec City I live on 5th and I can confirm that there was a lot of Bell-action in Limoilou, also around my corner. They rolled a new cable around the already present cables and installed a new box (thin metal garbage bin model) with some very thick cables coming out.
Since the beginning of July we had a few power outs and everytime Bell trucks were around somewhere...
Tomorrow I'll see if I can understand something of what is hanging there.
FTTH? In Limoilou? Probably not. FTTN/FTTK is more likely for a start. That is: if we're lucky!
Also saw Bell working in St. Jean-Baptiste by the way... On Ste-Marie even a whole new pole in the ground! |
