Re: $350? I used to subscribe to Sunday Ticket. It was $120 a year. Every year the price went up a few dollars. Then when they added HD it was a pricey $100 extra. I bailed, it got to be too much, especially with four games on regular tv and another two on non broadcast channels every week.
I absolutely love the Red Zone channel. Dish and cable operators sell that for seven dollars a month. If I could get that I'd be happy. As a DirecTV subscriber, though, they will not sell me Red Zone without my purchasing the entire HD Sunday Ticket package. I called and complained about that setup last year and they responded by spamming my email with Sunday Ticket advertisements.
I used to like DirecTV. They've changed quite a bit over the years with all the management turnover. I see AT&T laying Uverse cable just down the street. I'll switch in a heartbeat when that goes live.
I can get Red Zone for $7 a month with the competition, DirecTV wants me to pay $350. Way to drive away a long time customer, dummies. -- Dresden - I work in Accounts Payable. Random Bad Guy - In what capacity? Dresden - I make sure everyone gets what's coming to them. |

 | Football dude, if you call into DirecTV and say "cancel" that will route you to the Rentention dept. They have the ability to add RZC to your account for free. Just tell them you're looking at switching to dish over the RZC. It's taken around 5-10 mins for more "good" customers to have it added. |

I tried that last year, all it did was generate spam to my email about how great Sunday Ticket is. Maybe I'll have my wife try it this year. She's better at manipulating people than me. -- Dresden - I work in Accounts Payable. Random Bad Guy - In what capacity? Dresden - I make sure everyone gets what's coming to them. |
