I will say this if ESPN is only charging Comcast 5 cents per sub then they should be charging all ISPs 5 cents per sub. Not be charging smaller ISPs 50 cents or more.
If you approach Comcast and tell them they will have to pay $x amount for their content, Comcast will likely tell you to get bent, as they will be paying more than any other provider.

Now, if you go in and tell them that if they pay $.05 per subscriber, while ISPs with fewer customers will be charged much more per subscriber, it plays right into the hands of a good business strategy for both parties. Disney basically offered to provide an avenue for Comcast to raise rates to increase profits, while simultaneously hurting their competition. For all we know, this could have all been discussed behind closed doors between the top ISPs and Disney. It sure seems like it.
