Earthlink Dialup

I need to use earthlinks Dial Up Service. I have been using Verizon Fios Landline for about 2 months, but 2 weeks ago they told me I was making data/fax calls, so I had to switch to business, I switched to business, and they said the same thing, the only way I can make these calls (to earthlinks dial up service) is if I pay per minute. however, this Would cost me like $10,000 a month.

Earthlinks Dial up service, doesnt allow VOIP, (supposively, i havent tried, but thats what they said) can anyone confirm or deny that?

Does anyone have some type of work around for making unlimated nationwide data calls to earthilnks dialup service? without paying thousands of dollars per month.

maybe using a cellphone somehow to make the calls? a phone company that doesnt restrict data calls in the unlimited nationwide long distance calling?

I already have fios internet, so I am not looking for another internet option, I need to use earthlink's DSL (too long of a story).

thanks.

I'm a little confused by your post. It appears you have FIOS Internet and DSL Internet access yet still need to use dialup. I assume this is for some sort of non-Internet connection. Is it at least IP based?

Is usage really business or personal? Voice line tariffs do not permit charging extra for data service. Just because you are using phone line for data and fax does not in and of itself make it business usage. Giver the $1,000 figure you quote I have to assume it is in fact for business use. I'd check with your State's Public Utility Commission.

I have not done it personally done so but my understanding is that heavy compression used for VoIP means dialup connection will at best be very low speed. You can control that at your end by opting for higher quality.

Could the service you are connecting to set up a VPN so you can securely access it over the Internet?

I didnt mean to say earthlinks DSL, i meant earthlinks Dialup.

I need to use earthlinks Dialup. The usage is for business, i am using earthlink, so that i can I can utilize IP's from around the country.

I know there are other ways to change your ips and such, however for what i need to do, I simple need eartlhinks dialup.

so Does anyone have some type of work around for making unlimated nationwide data calls to earthilnks dialup service? without paying thousands of dollars per month.
