The government has unlimited money. They don't have to make money, they just take it from us, the tax payers.
The government has no reason to be competing with our money on services nobody really HAS to have by taking money from every single person and subsidising those that don't want it.
one out of every 2 people reading this pay ZERO income taxes. Of the 50% that do most pay less than 10% of their income in income taxes. |
| This might have something to do with the fact that 90% of the country makes less than $250,000 a year and a good 50% of the country hovers around the just above poverty level.
If we hadn't cut jobs while increasing the CEO wage scale to a ridiculous extent, our middle class wouldn't have been gutted and we would have more people paying more taxes. Wonders of wonders, trickle down is bull**** that doesn't work! |
