[Internet] Verizon/Frontier Cutover has not gone well here. I got an email on the 25th of August telling me the cutover was done. My email client has not worked since. Oh, I can log in to web mail alright, but forget about using an email client. Two lengthy (I mean Loooooong) troubleshooting sessions online produced absolutely ZERO results. Oh, can't use port 110 is the problem.
Their best guess? A server outage in my area. Try again later. I get the feeling that:
a) their techs are losing their jobs and don't give a damn
b) their techs are mostly recent hires and have not the faintest clue.
I also get a strong sense that if I can use webmail I should shut up and enjoy my empty Mac Mail inbox.
