Post your September Virgin Mobile Speeds

So far today service is very snappy, 8:45 east coast time. Guess we'll see what happens when west coast wakes up.

I'm not knowledgeable about speedtest.net--should I be selecting a test-to server near to my physical location? Working this morning, but it'll stop working again soon enough...

Seems to me Speedtest almost always works if I choose a server
in CA even though I am in Arkansas. Normally I would use a server in Dallas to test my cable connection at home. Dallas almost never works for me with VM.

Pretty good I suppose given my signal strength according to Virgin's connection manager is only -100db!!!?? Most importantly, I'm surfing with no problems at this hour:

I don't get a very good signal at my location but at least the service does seem to be improving again. All my page loads have been rather smooth today.

use the one that speedtest.net defaults with -that will be the closest it can find 'route' wise.

Thanks for this. Up in the middle of the night here as it's storming. Not San Francisco anymore!?

Well, I'm in Florida, and earlier this evening, my home agent seems to have changed from California to somewhere around Philly, and with it came, a big boost in speed and reliability. (about 800 to 1000kbs down, and around 400kbs up).

Looks like they are working out some of the kinks in the system.

i'm at the remote location so I wont post to bring down the average as it's not VM's fault so much as Sprint not having a tower around here... but...

its funny watching the rating's stars fill up on the test... 9/1 they had 1.0/5... then it jumps to 2.75/5 on the 3rd... if they keep this up I see 5 stars in their future

Not sure why the average stars went down, though. Went from 2.7 to 1.5. I have them rated at 3 right now.

Not quite...1x realistically has double those pings and half those speeds.
