Re: Post your September Virgin Mobile Speeds

I'm not knowledgeable about speedtest.net--should I be selecting a test-to server near to my physical location? Working this morning, but it'll stop working again soon enough...

Seems to me Speedtest almost always works if I choose a server
in CA even though I am in Arkansas. Normally I would use a server in Dallas to test my cable connection at home. Dallas almost never works for me with VM.

use the one that speedtest.net defaults with -that will be the closest it can find 'route' wise.

Well, I'm in Florida, and earlier this evening, my home agent seems to have changed from California to somewhere around Philly, and with it came, a big boost in speed and reliability. (about 800 to 1000kbs down, and around 400kbs up).

Looks like they are working out some of the kinks in the system.

Thanks for this. Up in the middle of the night here as it's storming. Not San Francisco anymore!?
