| reply to aefstoggaflm Cool link, but the page for my town tells me that Verizon is "not able to provide this type of service (dsl) to this specific location at this time". We've had vdsl for 5 years.
But at least I now know I'm 7,745 ft. from the CO. If only I could get closer to my "up to" 3.0 dl speed, instead of having to get a ticket opened just to get 1.5 back every week or so. |

odd thing is that T1shopper link says I can only get 1.0/384 from Verizon, Id have thought 6700ft from the CO would get 7mbit.
guess its a good thing I have Comcast. Makes me wonder how much time DSL even has left as a tech. Cable is beating U-Verse in bandwidth and has not had to mess around as much at the street.(CMTS, Node, and Amp upgrades are likely far less costly than when telcos are having to do to match DOCSIS 3) -- [65 Arcanist]Filan(High Elf) Zone: Broadband Reports |
