I'm sure you'll be able to buy one for full cost with no contract and then just use wifi.

i'm sure they'll just make a wifi only version, and get that for cheaper $$...

everyone wins.. do you need another 3g/4g unit? when you have an iphone 4 or DRIOD with hotspot feature? the answer is No, you don't.
