Not something all that rare. There are companies that specialize in killing out of control wells. This was not one of those cases but oil rigs have many inherent dangers associated with them. |

kudos:3 | Yeah, I know. I used to fly out to them by helicopter on occasion to do service on A/C and refrigeration. While there, I prayed nothing would catch fire or explode. Though the pay was good, I always had an uneasy feeling being there. I couldn't wait to get back on dry land. |
