 | New DLSX service, 2Wire compatibility issues What do I do if I suspect that my 2Wire2701 Gateway Modem is locked to compatibility with AT&T and I can't seem to find any way to make it work with DSLX service? Is there any way to get around the AT&T lock issue on the modem or am I stuck paying for a month of DSLX when I can't even use it? I got the modem with my previous AT&T dsl service, I no longer have AT&T because it isn't available at my new location, I checked the DSLX compatible modems list and saw that mine was on it, but I'm still having this problem: Whenever I try to connect it takes me to the AT&T Register/Setup pages in my browser. Help! |

You may want to try to post in the 2Wire forum to see if another person that frequents that forum was able to unlock the modem. Unfortunately I don't know a work around for that off hand but one of the other forum members may. If you are able to get the modem unlocked or set into bridge mode you should be able to get it working with our service.
