| Worst ISP ever Internet America is the worst ISP I have ever had the displeasure of using. This includes free dial-up providers as well.
If I had to name 1 thing that Internet America could actually guarantee. It would be the promise that it will NOT work as intended. that is if it works at all. There customer service tries to help.. But the fact that they have no clue whats going on leaves little to be desired. I have called countless times, Ive had a large number of receivers fail, only to be replaced by faulty units. The service rarely works at all. When it does work, it is 2, maybe 3 times faster then dial-up. Yet I pay $70 a month for 1.5 meg download rate. I don't believe there has ever been a day that I could even momentarily reach half that speed. Most of the time the latency is through the roof. 2000 to 5000 latency pings when they do go through.
This is, by far, the worst ISP I have ever used. I would switch. but I cant even anything else here. |
