Droilan just hit a new rank i believe not too long ago. he was my apprentice in craziness.......
damnit, now i want to play again. if Nims get more people after F2P i might just buy the expansion n come back.

kudos:1 | really enjoying LOTRO, had never played it before it went F2P. Made level 16 this weekend, and ordered a copy of mines of moria off amazon to give myself new content(and to move to a premium account). i like the deed system, even though its grindy by nature. Its like wows achievement system, but with actual rewards, makes it feel more fun, IMO. |

just cancel your subscription. You can then log in free. If you like the game though, you will probably want to continue to pay. Free play has too many limits for somebody that enjoys and plays the game a lot. |

kudos:1 | there are 3 levels of accounts- free, premium, and vip.
If you ever give them a dime you get moved to a premium account, which gives you some benefits over a free account. VIP is for people with active subs.
If you cancel your sub, you will be moved down to a premium account, and your toons will be there with full gear. Any expansions you have purchased will be there as well. |

| sorry i may be a little lost on this as i've not done any reading at all about f2play and vip accounts. i just use to play (have all expansions) and whatever but i log in and i'm a vip? you can still pay 15 a month? maybe i'll look it up when i go home just sorta bored at work atm. sorta sad i started this post and don't know much about it lol. |

yes im actually eligible for a premium account since i'm a regular subs back in the days...
yes if i reactivate my account and start paying monthly again like i used to, i will be a premium account.
however, i cancel my sub last year - before they went free.
so... how do i reactivate my account and "demote" myself to basic free account WITH all my gears? |

As for "full radiance?" I assume you mean prior to mirkwood? Can get up to 180 now with the Barad Guldur set...Possibly higher with a new 25 rad cloak. My highest toon has 150 (hunter). Still missing a few BG pieces. I have too many alts for any one toon to get full sets easily. I don't know on any given raid if I'll be bringing Minstrel, Hunter, Burglar, or Lore Master. Depends what we need, usually. 
FYI: Radiance is disappearing from the game soon. Not sure exactly when, but Turbine confirmed it. They are working on a new gating system. The way Helegrod works now, each character has to actually defeat each boss to even get the quest to kill Thorog. And with instance scaling, Helegrod has level 65 mobs and loot worthwhile for high levels. It was a little silly to run it as a level 50 instance with 60-65s. The Rift scaled too.

yes, full rad prior to mirkwood. i never touched that expansion.
Turbine's had confirmed theyr going to erase radiance, thats no surprise. but id like my gears still so i can enjoy the trip from 60 to 65

nope. i cant login to forum. and when i login to myaccount.turbine, it says my account is Premium and there's a big "Upgrade Now!" button which asks me to renew my paying subscription.
i dont see any demote-to-f2play button anywhere.

ugh ive uninstalled it so i guess ill download the client again.
but thanks! turbine.com doesnt have an option to "downgrade" and i already saw myself flagged as Premium....
if i can at least able to log in to forum (which i cant at this point tho i can login to turbine) i'd love to say hi just for shits n giggles....

| oh wow! i dont know the BG set looks like but those looks juicy!
i cant imagine tho how hard to collect all 6 but getting the 4/6 bonus is nice. 7% goes a long way for a champ (well at least back in my days lol)
nice 25 rad for extra health n stuff, n the stat looks very balanced. depending on ur build those are really nice!
lol@ recycling the armor description... i saw that on a low-level armor sets

1 tip for people who used to subscribe, but just want to play for free now(aka a premium account):
you get access to the 3 starter zones and their quest packs, and access to all 11 of the other eriador pve zones, but you dont get the quest packs for the other 11 zones unless you A) subscribe again, B) you can buy the quest packs individually with TP.
If you have bought mines of moria and/or siege of mirkwood, you get access to those zones regardless of if you subscribe or not.
so in theory you could play the starter zone for free till 25, grind/deed/skirmish to 50, then play through MoM and SoM to level cap without ever needing to resubscribe. |
