This is what happened yesterday, something is broken and needs to be fixed (and whatever it is, it's only affecting cable/fiber, not DSL).

Yeah, was down exactly 10 mintues. 8:22pm to 8:32pm.

DSL stayed up no problem. Am I ever glad I kept it, lol.

My Cable internet just went down in Bloor and Dundas West area in Toronto. Down time was about 5 minutes. Also the Teksavvy tech support line was down as well(Just gives busy signal). Something really needs to be done about the recent issues and reliability in the service and support need to be restored.

yeah, down for a while for the cable. just back, if this kind of outage persists everyday, that would be a headache.

Yes had a hiccup at Yonge / Eglinton at about 8:25-8:32. Two night in a row. I have a cheap router and I was worried that it may be that.... but maybe not?

I'm figuring this is more on TSI end as I'm on a fiber line fed by them and went down too... Not a good sign.

Someone is bound and determined to piss us off.

It was another DoS towards our DNS, we blocked off all external access yesterday...so what do they do? They spoof the source IP as the DNS server itself, sending millions of DNS queries per second. Our plan is to move said servers on different routers so that Cable and LAN customer aren't affected by this anymore. DSL shouldn't have gone down at all.

And yes, the DSL didn't go down at all.
