considering it took 3 minutes which is way too long for a hd there has to be another problem.
My core 2 duo boots an old well used and bloated vista 64 from a hd in 45 seconds. My i7 boots win 7 from an intel ssd in 15 seconds.
That might be worth the price of ssd ....If I turned my computer off. The speed I could care less as its fast enough for what I do and the boot times are also worthless as I keep my computer on and logged into the only account...mine.
