The problem is that these days she's becoming the RULE, not the exception!
Take the head of a food company and make him the head of Home Depot, a building supplies company. When he fails miserably, give him a 25 million dollar golden parachute and watch him become head of Chrysler, a car company. What do food, building supplies and cars have in common?

CEOs are bought for their connections, its a pure PR job to the Govt and shareholders, and for making corporate partnerships on the golf field. and someone to leave to the lions when the company does something horribly wrong. the shareholders and the board can just chuck the CEO to the Hungry Lions(news media) if they need. Maybe even urge the CEO to "Step Down"(ie self fired for good PR).

Maybe they can put Maggie in charge of Chrysler? She wouldn't be the first telco CEO to run a car company!
